SAN JOSE, Calif. – April 23, 2012 –Vormetric, Inc., the leader in enterprise systems encryption and key management,today announced that it will be exhibiting at the InfoSecurity 2012 conference in London. The company will preview new technology at InfoSecurity that accelerates data encryption to unprecedented levels in large enterprise environments. According to a recent Ponemon Institute report the average cost of data breaches in the UK has risen for the fifth consecutive year. The 2011 Annual Study: UK Cost of a Data Breach found that the average cost per capita of a data breach rose to £79 per record, up from £71 in 2010 and 68 percent higher than £47 in 2007. Malicious or criminal attacks have increased slightly from 29 per cent to 31 percent and are the most costly for organisations.
